So this pro model board is for my good friend Reece who is a skateboarder himself. Reece is a B.F.G (big friendly giant) and underneath his rugged exterior lyes a sensitive character with a whole host of fears and anxieties. This board represents the discord between our emotions and irrational fears and overall I think the composition creates a successful and aesthetically pleasing image on the board.
The typography board is in the shape of a bomb which contains lyrics by Tyler The Creator - Yonkers, this song is quite explicit but the guys lyrics are insanely funny. I was a little worried about offending people with some of the lyrics I had wanted to use so I went for one of the least offensive. But I feel the design works better than I originally expected.
My purely decorative board is derived from the Navajo pattern which is very fashionable as of recently, I think the patterns and colours work well together as a board.
My conceptual board is Kate Moss for supreme.
